Q - What time do the gates open?
A - The gates open at 7:30 a.m. The show begins at 11:00 a.m. 

Q - Is there a charge for admission or parking?
A - NO! Admission to the show and parking are free! However, if you'd like tickets to the Runway Club, a shaded area with private restroom facility, tables, chairs, water and catered lunch, those are available under Sponsorship for $25 each.

Q - Can you bring lawn chairs?
A - Yes. Lawn chairs, camp chairs, and blankets are allowed. Lounge chairs are not permitted. Please keep in mind that EVERYTHING is subject to search.

Q - Are tents or awnings, pop-ups or shade canopies allowed?
A - No.  Only hand-held umbrellas are allowed. 

Q - Is there a provision to park RV's?
A - You are more than welcome to reserve a space at our FAMCAMP (If Authorized) through Outdoor Recreation. Contact 895-0449 for more information. 

Q - Can I park an RV in the parking areas?
A - No. 

Q - Will there be a shuttle from the parking areas?
A - Yes. There will be shuttle service to and from the on-site parking lots all day.

Q - Is there parking anywhere besides base?  A-Yes. You can park at Sumter Mall.  Free buses will provide transportation to and from the show.

Q - Can I leave and re-enter the Air Show?
A -  Yes, but will have to be re-searched through security.

Q - Are coolers permitted?
A - No. coolers are not permitted.

Q - Are cameras and video recorders allowed?
A - Yes, you may bring cameras and video recorders into the show. Keep in mind that EVERYTHING is subject to search.

Q - Can I bring an umbrella?
A - Umbrellas are permitted. Keep in mind that EVERYTHING is subject to search.

Q - Do you have bleacher seating available?
A - Yes, but limited. For a guaranteed seat in the shade, visit our reserved seating/sponsorship area to find out how to purchase tickets. 

Q - Can I get a schedule of events?
A - The final schedule will be available closer to show date on our website and Facebook pages.

Q - What is a static display?
A - A static display is an aircraft that is on display inside the spectator area. It is not an aircraft that will perform in the show but it will be available to view and take pictures.

Q - Is there shade?
A - There are some areas of shade available throughout the flight line. Take a walk through one of our larger static displays to get a break from the sun.

Q - Are pets allowed?
A - Sorry, there are no pets allowed except for service animals (seeing eye dogs, etc.) 

Q - How do I obtain information about becoming a sponsor?
A - There are many sponsorship opportunities. You can contact by phone 803-895-4897 or visit our sponsorship section. 

Q - How do I get a media pass for the show?
A - Contact the Public Affairs Office at 803-895-2019 for qualifications

Q - What happens if it rains?
A - In the event of rain some flying demonstrations may be delayed or postponed, however, unless the weather poses serious threat to the safety of the visitors and participants, the show will proceed as scheduled with some modifications.

 Q - Can I bring food?
A - No, outside food cannot be brought into the show.  (A list of prohibited items is at the end of this page)

 A list of approved items includes:

     Small purses or fanny packs

     Cameras and/or camcorders with small camera bags

     Diaper bags

     Baby strollers

     Small lawn chairs or camp chairs (no lounge chairs)

     Wheelchairs, canes, guide/working dogs to assist disabled individuals

     Water in unopened clear plastic bottles only (all other liquids are prohibited)

Q - Will alcoholic beverages be allowed?
A - You may not bring alcoholic beverages to the air show.  Although beer will be available for purchase at the air show, alcoholic beverages, their containers, glass bottles or containers are not allowed on the ramp as broken glass can cause severe safety hazards.

Q - Will bikes, skateboards, roller blades, skates, or kick or electric scooters be allowed on the flight line?
A - No.  They are not allowed on the ramp or past our check points.

Q - Are there any restrictions on bringing weapons to this event?
A - Yes.  Weapons, including, but not limited to, firearms, pocket knives, num chucks, brass knuckles, explosive devices, leatherman tools, scissors, replica/toy weapons, pepper spray, and large or heavy link chains, are not allowed and will be confiscated.   

Q - Will ATMs be available? 
A - YES, There will be ATM's available!  

Q - Will there be handicapped parking?
A -  Yes; handicapped parking will proceed through the main gate of shaw and park near the center of activities.  There are no obstacles once parked near the center.
